A U.S. speedboat was intercepted with 10 Cuban nationals who intended to carry out an "infiltration for terrorist purposes," Cuban officials said.

The Cuban Interior Ministry said the people on the vessel initiated the firefight and were found to have firearms, explosives and camouflage uniforms.
