In 2014, Rebecca Schwartz dialed 911 to report a home robbery, claiming cash, watches and her husband were gone. Authorities arrived to find her husband, Steven Schwartz, dead in what former detective John Diebel believed was a staged burglary.

Three key items were missing: a part of the home's security system, a large knife and the gun used to shoot Steven. Authorities never found the items.

DNA evidence led to one man accepting a plea deal, while Steven's wife was never criminally charged. But Diebel says his remaining questions about the robbery lead him to believe Rebecca was more directly involved.
