Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani sustained several injuries in a car accident last night, including a fracture on his spine, according to Michael Ragusa, who identified himself as the head of Giuliani’s security.

Ragusa said in a statement that Giuliani was "in great spirits" and "fully alert and conscious."
