The luxury jet President Trump wants to accept from Qatar to become a new Air Force One could cost over $1 billion and take years to complete, according to aviation experts.

Air Force One is considered the most complicated aircraft on the planet, and it needs to be fitted with costly, sophisticated systems for secure communications, missile defense and protection against electro-magnetic pulse attack. Dismantling the Qatari jet and installing those systems could push the project into the 2030s, well after Trump's term ends.
