A judge ordered the release of Mohsen Mahdawi from federal immigration custody, weeks after the Columbia University student was detained by armed DHS agents during his naturalization interview in Vermont.

"I am saying it clear and loud to President Trump and his Cabinet: I am not afraid of you," Mahdawi said outside the Vermont courtroom.
